If so, Synchronize! is a way of automatically keeping your documents current on each of the Macs. It eliminates the task of comparing the time and date a document was modifed in order to keep your work organized when using multiple folders.
• Do you use a removable disk for backup?
Using a removable-cartridge hard disk, an optical disk, a floptical disk, or even one or two floppy disks is a simple way to back up your important files every day.
Synchronize! will copy only the files you’ve changed so that your backup is quick and painless.
• Do you need to periodically move old files to a floppy disk, or delete them?
Synchronize! will move a subset of files from a folder (and all of its sub-folders) to a special folder you create. The special folder can be on a floppy disk, where you can save them. Or they can be moved to a special folder on your hard disk, where you can review the files and trash the ones you don't need.
As an example, all files older than a particular date can be moved to a particular folder, allowing them to be selectively thrown in the Trash. Any files which are not thrown away may be moved back with the same Synchronize! document, when it is set to move files in the opposite direction.
